About Us

Quest X Quiz is an online mathematics competition where every question is a mission across the stars.

Quest X is a gamified, space-themed online mathematics competition in USA for students in Years 3 to 10. Instead of a traditional test, students step into an original space-and-alien universe where each level is a chapter in a story and every question is a galactic mission. It is built to make mathematics feel exciting, adventurous, and worth competing from the first practice question to a place on the global leaderboard.

Who we are

Quest X was created to give students a different way to experience mathematics competition in US; one that combines meaningful mathematical challenges with an engaging competitive environment. The experience is designed for both individual participants and schools, giving students the opportunity to test their abilities alongside others.

Our mission

We believe mathematics is at its best when it feels like discovery rather than drill. Our mission is to give students everywhere a competition that rewards curiosity and effort, celebrates achievement with meaningful recognition, and makes math something children look forward to wherever they live and whatever their school.

Explore the Quest X Universe

Quest X is organized into eight levels — one for each year group from Year 3 to Year 10. Every level has its own name, its own chapter in the Quest X story, and its own distinct tone, so each student competes within a fair, age-appropriate group while sharing in the same unfolding narrative.

Where We Operate

Quest X is launching across the United States and other countries to follow. Questions are aligned to each region's curriculum expectations so students compete on familiar ground while reaching for a global ranking.

How Quest X Quiz works

Taking part is simple:

  • Register. A parent registers an individual student, or a school coordinator registers a class or whole school.
  • Get your exam link. The Registering Adult receives a secure link and everything needed to take part.
  • Take the quiz. The student completes a timed quiz of around 30 questions, set within the Quest X story for their level.
  • Earn your certificate and ranking. Students receive a downloadable certificate and can appear in school, national, and global rankings.

A free practice zone lets students try sample questions in the same style as the real competition before they enter.

Why we built Quest X Quiz

Families and schools have long valued math competitions that combine genuine challenge with a sense of fun and real recognition. With few global competitions offering a gamified, story-driven format together with individual and school entry and three-tier certificates, we created Quest X to fill that gap—a competition that is as engaging as it is rigorous, open to individual students and whole schools alike.
